Neutral Eye

Not every girl likes their makeup over the top and glamorous. Let's face it, not every day calls for glitter and glam. Also who would have time for that everyday?
A neutral eye is the perfect look whether you're going to the movies, on a date, shopping, nice event, etc. This is a look everyone can pull off and you won't feel nervous doing!
I began by priming my eyes of course! As usual I used my paint pot. Then set it with powder to make my blending easier.
As always I used my peach smoothie transition shade then Using Lorac's pro palette  I used the shade Taupe and buffed it all over my crease. Buffing it from out their inner corner. Going in with the darker brown, Sable, from the same palette I did the same thing but focused it more on the outer corner. That's where you want the most of your product to be to give definition to your eyes.
I highlighted under my brow bone with the Naked Basics shade Venus.
For my wing I used L'Oreal's black gel liner. I love this gel liner so much! But I don't recommend using the brush they give you. It's not precise at all and it would be impossible to neatly line your eyes with it, especially a wing.
I use my sigma brush (mentioned in first blog post) but i'm sure Sephora or Ulta has great ones! Just look for an angled brush that is thin! This will give you the most precision.

Lush Cosmetics

If you know me you know I'm obsessed with skin care. It is so important to take care of your skin! Check out my blog post on the importance of skin care if you are interested!
My heart beats for Lush Cosmetics. They truly have some of the best skin care products on the market. For starters EVERYTHING is homemade and fresh. Now I know companies can claim being organic and all that but this is no lie. They actually will cut up fresh fruit and veggies and put them in their products! That my friends is amazing. Because skin care is so important you want to pick the right products. You want products that are paraben and perfume free. Lush cosmetics is the perfect place for you if you're like me. Also, they do not test on animals! They actually fight for no animal testing!
I'm actually obsessed with how these products are made. Their inventors go to farmers markets and flower shops and pick ingredients. They then bring them back to the lab and begin their creations.
Lush also supports the environment. For packaging they believe that creating naked and packaging-free products is important. The effort is meant for what's going inside the product not what it's put in. Some of their products don't even have packaging such as their bath bombs, bubble bars, massage bars, body butters, and solid shampoo bars. Their packaging is made out of recycled-only or compostable materials. As often as they can they'll use biodegradable.
Even their electricity used in manufacturing is matched with renewable energy from wind to low-impact hydro put into the grid, through Bullfrog power.
The company constantly finds ways to watch how much fresh water they're using. They're linen service providers treat and reuse their water onsite.
I could go on forever about this company. They have me for the right ways. I really trust this company and will forever purchase from them. I love what this company stands for such as fighting animal testing, taking care of the environment, etc. This company is far more than good products that benefit your skin, it goes beyond that. I love knowing that my money is going somewhere good.
Here are some of my favorite products from Lush!

Everyday Makeup

Most girls don't want to cake on their makeup everyday or even any day. So, I created a look that was simple and didn't appear to look like a heavy load of products. I do love myself a full coverage foundation so my face makeup is heavier than most people would do, but feel free to dull it down!
Face Products
Foundation: L'Oreal True Match Foundation
- awesome for those with oily skin
- gives great coverage
- lasts all day
- doesn't feel heavy on the skin
Concealer: Mac's Mineralize concealer a few shades lighter than my skin to highlight, brings a nice glow and makes you look wide awake
Important to set with a powder so it lasts and doesn't crease. Used the banana shade in the Anastasia Contour Kit (linked below)
Contour:  Used True Match Foundation again but a few shades darker than my skin.
If you have oily skin set it with a powder! I set it with Anastasia Contour Kit. This step is totally optional! You can just go in with the powder instead of the foundation with it. I just wanted it to be more intense. You can't see it well though in the picture because of the lighting.
Highlight: Used the highlight shade in the contour kit linked above
Eye Products
Eye shadow: Of course I primed them with the usual and set them with powder. I've mentioned the products I usually use for that in a few blog posts ago.
Went in with my usual transition shade and then used any bronzer or contour shade and put it all over my crease.
Using a glitter glue primer (mentioned in earlier blog posts) I primed my lid.
Used shade Unbelievable from Lorac Unzipped Palette and put it all over my lid. Then used the shade Unreal and put that on the center of my lid.
Finished it off with mascara!
Lip Products
Lipstick and lip gloss: One my previous blog I mentioned two AMAZING products from Gerard Cosmetics. The lipstick in Kimchi Doll and the gloss in Spring Fling. Absolutely stunning on the lips. I just love baby pink lips! It's so girly and pretty, but I wouldn't recommend the lipstick for those who don't like pale pink lips. It is not for everyone!
